I have noticed I tend to focus on the natural events and overlook the human impact, and I do have an interest in emergency preparedness relative to natural disasters.

Thank you for the input. I’m working on modifications like you mention for several presentations.

I have seen documentaries about wildfires on Discovery Channel. There are measures to prevent wildfires from burning down homes like not planting trees too near the house. It would be very useful to include information like that in your presentation.

You may be able to join contest like 'Wildfire Home Awareness Contest' next year or as an educator, you can pick more ideas from winners for your slides:

Communities and homes are threatened
The entire Northern Hemisphere has regions of extreme dry conditions
