C lub HistoryThe Twin Stars Football Club were formed in 2005 and compete in theNational Premier Soccer League (NPSL). Part of the U.S. Soccer pyramid,the NPSL is classified as a Division IV league (behind MLS, NASL, USL Pro)The NPSL features some of the top U-23 players from around the nationas well as seasoned players. The other Division IV league in U.S. Soccer isthe USL PDL.From 2005-2010, the club was know as the St. Paul TwinStars as themajority of their matches were played at James Griffin Stadium at St.Paul Central High School (2005-06) and then Macalester Stadium (2007-10) in St. Paul. The club moved their home base to Augsburg College inMinneapolis in 2011 and were re-named the Minnesota TwinStars FC. In2012, the team will call the pitch at Prairie Seeds Academy in BrooklynPark their home.
