    • The state flag was designed by Andrew Carlisle Johnson in 1911.
  • 3. The state tree
    • The state tree is the Blue Spruce. It was first discovered in Pikes Peak in 1839. In 1862 it became our state tree.
  • 4. The state flower
    • Our state flower is the Columbine. It is white and lavender-blue. It became our state flower on April 4,1899.
  • 5. Conclusion
    • Colorado is a pretty state and to keep it pretty we have to take care of it.
