  • 2. Mission Statement
    • It is the desire of the Coppell ISD
      • to allow our buildings to be used as much as possible
      • by as many groups as possible
      • without interfering with the education process of our children
      • at a minimal or no cost to the district

  • 3. Fee Structures
    • Categorize cost recovery fees based on the degree of connection with the students or community
    • Establish the actual cost of utilities
    • Establish the actual cost of personnel
    • Add the cost of administrative work for the scheduling process

  • 4. CATEGORY A
    • SCHOOL AFFILIATED, YOUTH ORIENTED, NON-PROFIT GROUPS
      • Examples:
      • PTSO, PTO, Booster Clubs, Local Professional Educator Organizations, campus registered student clubs
        • Building Fees/utilities for these groups will be waived during the school week (Monday-Thursday)
        • Fees will be applied for personnel as needed and use of equipment in specialized areas of each facility
        • Usage of special equipment requires authorization from the building principal or designee
        • School sponsored athletic or academic camps will be charged a $10 per participant fee. Academic camps must get prior approval through the Curriculum Office. Academic camps will also be charged a room fee of
        • $100 per room/per week

    • CATEGORY A
    • Custodial support ------$25 per hour/per person
    • (2 hour minimum)
    • Supervisor ---------------$31 per hour/per person
    • Technicians ------------ $25 per hour/per person
    • Maintenance ----------- $100 base fee
    • (2 hour minimum) $75/hr after minimum
    • Kitchen supervisor-----$25 per hour/per person

    • NON-SCHOOL AFFILIATED, YOUTH ORIENTED, NON-PROFIT
      • Examples:
      • Youth sports associations, youth sports clubs, non-City of Coppell programs, CISD sanctioned programs which benefit Coppell students
        • MAJORITY OF TEAM must reside in CISD
        • (a roster will be required to verify residency)
        • Additionally, there will be a $7 per person per month fee charged to groups using CISD facilities on a recurring basis

    • ELEMENTARY
    • GYM $30/hr
    • CAFETERIA $30/hr

    • MIDDLE SCHOOLS
    • GYM $30/hr

    • HIGH SCHOOL
    • GYM 2 $30/hr
    • GYM 1 $35/hr
    • COMMONS $50/hr
    • THEATER $100/hr (2 hour minimum)
    • PLUS PERSONNEL COSTS AS NEEDED
        • Additionally, there will be a $7 per person per month fee charged to groups using CISD facilities on a recurring basis

    • NON–YOUTH ORIENTED, NON–PROFIT GROUPS
      • Examples:
      • Churches, Civic Organizations, Government entities, * Homeowners Associations (HOA)
      • Fee based on a 3-hour block of time, including all utility costs
      • Supervisory personnel required
      • Custodial personnel required
        • * HOA prompted a new category referred to as the “Peanuts Package”:
            • a designated space as is; no frills
            • 2 hour limited time frame
            • $100 flat fee

      • Local businesses and any group without non- profit status
        • Fee based on a 3-hr block of time, including utility costs

      • Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts
        • Building fees for these groups will be waived during the school week (Monday—Thursday)
        • Custodial and Supervisor fees may apply
        • Weekend usage of CISD facilities will require a building fee as well as cost for other personnel as needed
