    Notes on slide 1

I am here today in place of Prof. Zipf and Pascal Neis . Both could not make it. I am very much pleased to be here and to have this opportunity to talk about openrouteservice.org. Now, what is Openrouteservice? Openrouteservice basically offers Location Based Services using OSM data . Currently operates germany-wide . It lets you calculate routes , geocode and reverse geocode adresses and find places of interest (such as shops, pubs, atms) near a certain position / you. I will give you a brief live demo later on. Let us look at the outline . -->
