  • 2. Purpose  Learn how each county manages parcel and ownership info updates  Determine if counties would be interested in statewide parcels  If so, how?
  • 3. Participants  Geographic Administrators Association of South Carolina  South Carolina Geographic Information Council  County GIS and Assessors offices
  • 4. Participation  44 of 46 counties responded to the survey  Hope to get 100% response rate moving forward  Survey was well received
  • 5. Maintain End of Year Parcels
  • 6. CAMA Refresh Rate
  • 7. Parcel Poly Update Rate
  • 8. Give Data – Local Gov’t
  • 9. Give Data to COGs
  • 10. Give Data to the State
  • 11. Give Data to the Feds
  • 12. Web Service or App
  • 13. Public Data Download Charge
  • 14. Interested in Statewide Parcels
  • 15. State Parcels with PIN Only
  • 16. State Parcels with CAMA Data
  • 17. What Did We Learn?  A lot of data sharing in SC through multiple levels of Government  All but 2 counties either have (or will have) a web service or app  Sale price of parcel data to public varies greatly  Most counties would be interested in some form of statewide parcels app
  • 18. What’s Next?  Push survey results out to respondents to verify/clarify answers  Create AGOL map service of responses for all to view  Develop a plan moving forward  Re-verify who would like to participate  Develop statewide parcel service
