    • “ Sexting” By: Jeremy Brunner and Steve Busse
      • In the book, Twisted, Bethany was stuck in a situation where nude pictures of her were exposed to the entire school. Though the main spread of the pictures was not done through Cell Phones; any type of sending explicit messages or photos electronically is considered sexting.
How is Sexting Related to Twisted
    • What is sexting?
      • The act of sending sexually explicit messages or photos electronlically, primarilly between cell phones.
    • We surveyed 100 students from West Senior about sexting and this is what we found…… Our Research:
      • 99% of the 100 we surveyed have Cell Phones.
      • National Survey says that ~82% of teens own cell phones. (“ProQuest1”)
    • 89% of West Seneca West students have texting/picture messaging
      • In one national survey they estimated 76% of teens (ages 13 - 19) have texting/picture messaging
      • (“ProQuest1”)
    • 58% of West Seneca West students have sent/received nude pictures In a national survey, they estimated only 18% of teens have participated in acts of “sexting” (“Proquest”)
      • Of those 58%, 25% said that those pictures have reached multiple people.
      • Interesting fact!
      • Out of the 100 students we surveyed 61% of them were not virgins.
    • Our conclusion-
      • Sexting is bad.
      • It drastically affect a persons’ image
      • It harms people mentally and emotionally, and possibly physically.
      • DON’T DO IT. :)
