  • 12. There  was  one  small   lighty  marmalade,     and  one  small     darky  marmalade
  • 13. And  the  small  Lighty  Marmalade  whispered,  “Hi,  I’m  not  allowed  to   go  and  fight  because   I’m  too  young”
  • 14. Same  here.
  • 15. Why  do  we  fight  each   other?
  • 16. Because  we’re  dark  and  tall,  and  you’re   short  and  fat!
  • 17. No,  you  mean  you’re  tall  and  skinny,  and   we’re  just  made  in   the  right  way!
  • 18. Let’s  go  talk   somewhere  else  so  the  grown-‐ups   don’t  hear.
  • 19. Hey,  there’s  a  good  place  over   here!
  • 20. Errgh!  There’s  lots  of   other  jams  in  here   (I’m  dehydra=ng!)

  • 34. I’ve  been  sharing  that  box  over  there  with   a  Lighty
  • 35. And  Darky  Marmalades  are  fine
  • 36. Let’s  all  share  the  cupboard   together
  • 37. And  with  all  our  other  friends  too.  They’re  not  even   Marmalades!
  • 38. It’s  much  cosier   in  here  with   everyone!
  • 39. I  think  it  would  be  quite  cold  with  only  one  kind   of  Marmalade!
