3. JUSTIFICACIÓN
Al año hay aproximadamente 1,5 billones de episodios de
diarrea por año y causa 21% de muertes en niños < 5 años.
En 1982 se publicó una revisión de los años 1950, 1960
y 1970: 4,6 millones de niños moría anualmente por
diarrea.

Estudio Bhatnagar: Mostró que el uso de zinc redujo el total

La deficiencia de zinc esta asociada con atrofia linfoidea.
