  • 1. Fashionable Power Women Here is compilation of the world’s most fashionable POWER women.
  • 2. Michelle Obama is Princeton and Harvard educated and worked at one of the biggest law firms in the country. As the First Lady of the United States, she’s become a tireless advocate for veterans’ rights, poverty awareness, nutrition and her husband. She’s done all of this in an eclectic mix of great outfits from established and emerging designers– establishing herself as a style icon.
  • 3. Do we even need to explain? In addition to overseeing the biggest fashion glossy there is, Anna Wintour essentially runs the fashion industry. And while her outfits may follow a formula, one can never accuse her of being a fashion victim or not dressing her age. She pretty much always gets it right. Maybe because she defined what “it” is.
  • 4. Angela Ahrendts took English heritage brand Burberry into the 21st century. Under Ahrendt’s guidance, Burberry has evolved into one of the most recognizable luxury names in fashion. The brand’s digital initiatives within the industry have been groundbreaking, and it boasts nearly 13 million fans on Facebook.
  • 5. Angelina Jolie. Actress, humanitarian and fashion icon. Need I say more?
  • 6. Marissa Mayer is a well known label-lover. Mayer’s penchant for Oscar da la Renta is no secret. She once paid $60,000 at an auction for lunch with the designer and it’s storied she designed her wedding dress in close collaboration with the designer Naeem Khan. She has also posed for Vogue.
  • 7. Sheryl Sandberg is a label lover as well and has posed for Vogue, just like Marissa. Sandberg has declined being interviewed on her style in the past but she mostly appears in Calvin Klein and Prada.
  • 8. Oprah Winfrey is effortlessly fabulous and an undeniable trend- setter. On a different note, when Oprah touts a product, it can mean the difference between billions of dollars.
  • 9. She’s long been the top model in the global fashion industry, and Gisele Bundchen is putting her good looks and mass appeal to work for her very own venture.
  • 10. Rania Al Abdullah is the Queen of Jordan as the wife of King Abdullah II. Royalty has no fashion limits. Rania has earned plenty of accolades for her fashion sense. She’s among Vanity Fair’stop 10 most fashionable first ladies, and one poll named her the number 2 most beautiful royal in history.
  • 11. Kate Middleton. Uhm, she’s a bit of a hit and miss. (IMHO). But she has definitely evolved fashionably over the last year or so. And with the arrival of the royal baby, she’s positively glowing in whatever she wears!
  • 12. Shobhana Bhartia is the Chairperson and Editorial Director of the Hindustan Times Group. She’s subtly fashionable and never overboard.
