Mahindra (yup, the automotive company) systematically encroaches upon Akurli Road every day by parking its heavy commercial vehicles on a designated no-parking road. This is an attempt by a Lokhandwala-resident to reclaim the road that was built and is maintained using taxpayer money.

Slide 2:Akurli Road is the only access road for residents of Kandivali Lokhandwala Complex
Slide 3: The entire Akurli Road is a No-Parking zone on both sides of the road
Slide 4:But Mahindra trucks/trailers/buses are parked on both sides of the road almost round the clock.
Slide 5:The road was built on and is maintained on us taxpayer's money
Slide 6: But a private-sector giant with deep pockets has been systematically abusing the road
Slide 7:Illegal \"encroachment\" of Akurli Rd by Mahindra trucks means congestion and slow-moving traffic
