This slideshow is very useful, but so much information is too much for me to remember. Maybe I should read this many times or to print it to always have it when I need it. :-)

The problem with SlideShare is you loose the transitions between slides and therefore some of the examples in this presentation. I would rather be able to download the presentation in the original formatting (ppt).

I'm glad I found this. Now I have an example of what NOT to do when creating an electronic presentation. Even when you have a topic in which some ideas are worthwhile, the presentation itself suffers from a serious lack of style, punch and power. Anyone using PowerPoint's built-in templates immediately relegate themselves to a 'death by PowerPoint' presentation. Look elsewhere for quality! This is NOT it.

He stole some of the slides from Prof Chen's presentation.....shame on him.

It is therefor no wonder that the author has yet not responded to tosime's challenge...

This is a perfect case of blatant copy and paste. The original presentation is to be found at www.uctl.canterbury.ac.nz/documents/presentation.ppt and Prof Victor Chen should be acknowledged as the true author for this.

I recommend that you do NOT use bullets for anything. Use a short sentence with an appropriate photo of the topic. Also DO NOT use cheesy clip art. These are distractions to your audience. You want the audience to focus on what you have to say. If they spend all their time trying to read the bullet points, they are not listening to you. see my blog at www.nobullets.wordpress.com for more presentation suggestions.
