  1. Slide 1: On this slide show I am going to show you lots of toys in the past .
  2. Slide 2: In the 1920s • Metal hoops-the children would push the hoop along the ground with a metal rood creating a force.
  3. Slide 3: 1930s • Girls and boys pull wooden carts and push model trains made out of tinplate.
  4. Slide 4: In the 1940s • Many of the toys in the early 1940's were educational. They were designed to teach children skills that they would be able to use later in life.
  5. Slide 5: In the 1950s • In the 1950s-wooden tractors was a popular toy for many boys the would simply push it and see how far it went .
  6. Slide 6: Toys in the 2000s • I have showed lots of toys in the 1920-1950s so now here are some of the toys in the 2000s . • 2000s-The 2000-Children love to build things so the toys companies made Lego
  7. Slide 7: 2001 • The 2001-Girls love dolls to fiddle with their hair or change their outfit so the toy companies brought in more Barbie's.
  8. Slide 8: 2002 • In 2002 many children needed to cuddle something at night and teddy bears have been around for a long time so we brought in more.
  9. Slide 9: 2003 In 2003-A fuzzy guy, Elmo,was one of the most popular toys then.
  10. Slide 10: 2004 • In 2004-Barbies were getting out of the shops when Bratz came in .
  11. Slide 11: 2005 • In 2005-if you needed a friend Furby would have been great.
  12. Slide 12: 2006 • In 2006-PSP is a great new toy that you can play on rainy days .
  13. Slide 13: 2007 • In 2007-If you are fed up walking then get heelys and glide instead.
