Let’s Get Talking Create An Avatar Here is a fun task for all to complete this week to get to know one another a little bit better.

Once signed into the site select option 1 below:

You now have four options to play with: 1. Create your character 2. Give it a oice – se next slide! 3. Customise your background 4. Change your player

There are different methods to give your character a voice as follows: Type in the text, select a voice and select a Language. Plug a microphone into the computer and record your message. Record your file using a digital recorder an upload to site.

When you are happy with your character select the Publish button. You will be asked to name your character then save.

You can now place your talking character on your ning page for others to listen to as follows: Select the size of player you would like. Copy the code from this box then paste onto a blog entry or the main part of your ning page.
