    1. Shrewsbury Health Library An exciting new multidisciplinary health library development for the local health community
    2. What is this about?
      • In July 2008, three libraries will be merging into one new building to provide a high-quality multidisciplinary health library
      • This will involve bringing the SECC Library, the PCT Library Service and the Staffordshire University Faculty of Health Library under one roof.

      • Medical, nursing and allied health staff
      • Healthcare students
      • Community-based staff
      • NHS researchers
      • NHS managers
    4. Better resources…
      • More books - around 13,000 titles
      • More journals - around 150 current subscriptions
      • More PCs - 50 in total
      • Improved access to the resources of Staffordshire and Keele Universities
    5. Better services…
      • Longer opening hours
      • Late night and weekend access to IT
      • More library staff to provide help
      • Dedicated IT support staff
      • Outreach services for community staff
      • More information skills training
    6. Better facilities…
      • More study space
      • Dedicated information skills training room
      • Quiet study area
      • Flexible learning room for group work
      • Colour photocopiers and printers
      • Improved accessibility
    7. Where will the new library be?
      • We will be situated next to the Staffordshire University Faculty of Health building on the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital site
      • You can access us via our main entrance (24 hour access will be available), or through the Faculty of Health
