  • 2. This week’s assignment is to generate as many ideas as possible for the problem  statement I crafted last week “The business world is changing faster than what universities does. Companies have to work closer & collaborate with universities (educational institutions) to define & create the jobs of the future” Step 1 - Idea Generation: The goal is to come up with 50 (or more ideas). I should strive for generating a diverse range of ideas, from simple ones to others  that do not seem feasible. Step 2 – Idea selection: Out of all ideas I generated, select three ideas according to  the following criteria: i.The most practical idea (one that could be easily implemented) ii.The most disruptive idea (one that would make a huge impact, regardless of how feasible or  affordable it is) iii.My favorite idea (one idea that I´m excited about for whatever reason)

STEP 1 – IDEA GENERATION Employees teach others (employees) Business & university design courses Employees with days / weeks off for courses Immersion experiences for students in company Immersion experiences for employees in college Yearly internship for students in company Internship in different departments & companies Ask or propose a course for your colleagues Open source platform to connect with universities and companies to share knowledge Random meetings to connect people & share knowledge Share ideas, knowledge & thoughts in post it, write it down in walls, blackboards with free access to everybody The business world is changing faster than what educational system does. Companies have to work closer & collaborate with educational institutions to define & create the jobs of the future

STEP 1 – IDEA GENERATION Gamification Personalized learning: Simulation & immersive virtual games as tools for learning Open day for kids in universities & companies Business games for kids at school Part of my daily work is to share ideas Part of my study time at college is to work & help companies in projects Learn by doing Companies exchange their staff for a period of time Informal sharing sessions with colleagues Sharing sessions with students & kids Company discount for joining courses Company support & sponsor online courses Business incubators The business world is changing faster than what educational system does. Companies have to work closer & collaborate with educational institutions to define & create the jobs of the future

STEP 1 – IDEA GENERATION Give courses to your colleagues Employees swap between departments (once per month) 20% weekly working hours off Days off for whatever you want to do Learning weeks in company Swap positions between boss & employees Swap positions between professor & employer Keynote speakers sessions Learning expeditions to other companies, countries & educational institutions Develop a platform of expertise network Employees exchange of knowledge platform The business world is changing faster than what educational system does. Companies have to work closer & collaborate with educational institutions to define & create the jobs of the future
