have had to direct there genre of film to a different audience so that it will appeal to a wider

They are releasing a new film in November 25thcalled ‘The Deep Blue Sea’ which is directed by
Terence Davies and he is going back to fiction film but has a drama genre, the film is based around a

maybe also a known film, also Tom Heddleston (and starring in upcoming (Archipelago [2010]).) who
has recently been in resent film the Green Lantern is featured in this film, so these well-known
actors film4 is hoping that the public will go see the film.
Joe Walsh (cineVue) review for the new film ‘A complex film that warrants more than one viewing to
truly appreciate what is happening, Davies admitting himself that it took four or five readings of the
play before he knew what was really going on.’
The target audience for the film will be for an older audience 30-40+ as Joe Walsh explains that it is a
very complex film so wouldn’t be suitable for a younger audience.
How far has the company remained independent?
As it’s now a co- producer for other film companies, it supports independent films and various
others like Hollywood blockbuster films. But when they did produce films they were mostly
independent films with a few Hollywood blockbuster films for the company to survive.
