    • Subway is in the fast food industry. Subway is unique because instead of greasy, unhealthy food it serves nutritious subs, salads, wraps and others. Subway is popular because they make your food in front of you, and you get to pick what you want on it.
    • Subway has had many slogans in the past such as “My Way” in 1985, “The place where fresh is the taste" in 1990, “What a sandwich" in 1994, “Right before your eyes” in 1995, “The way a sandwich should be” in 1996 and has been “Eat Fresh" since 2000.
    • Subway opened during the summer of 1965 in Bridgeport, Connecticut by a young man named Fred DeLuca.
    • Fred began franchising Subway in 1974.

    • He talked with a family friend, Dr. Peter Buck, a nuclear physicist. He suggested a sandwich shop because it was such a successful in his home town.
    • Fred knew he needed some capital to finance the shop and so Dr. Buck provided Fred with $1000. This was when the partnership formed. The shop was named Pete’s Super Submarines after Peter Buck.

    • Meetings will be held as required.
    • The partnership cannot admit new partners.
    • A partner can withdrawal themselves from the business, however three months notification will be required.
    • If a partner leaves or dies, the business will go on.
    • If the partnership dissolves, the assets will be given out at the same percentages as the profit.
