Social media and networking offer numerous ways to professionally engage with a pool of potential volunteer mentors. This tool can be especially important during National Mentoring Month, a time of concentrated media activity on a national level. Social Media + National Mentoring Month = Opportunity will explore social media and networking options, discuss ways to keep information safe and confidential, and provide a forum for attendees to share what works (and what doesn’t work) for their recruitment efforts.
