3. Campaign #JobSearch: You Want to Do What? If you don’t know you and what you are capable of, you can’t expect anyone else to either. Perfect this step!
4. Campaign #JobSearch: Your Traditional Resume “Your resume can have all the accolades you want, but ultimately what can you do for me Monday morning at 9am?“
5. Campaign #JobSearch: Design & Creative Programs Choose a design and/or creative program that will work for you and the creativity you want to display!
6. Campaign #JobSearch: Traditional Resume Makeover Take your aspirations and qualifications, and transform them from your traditional resume to a resume that “pops.” Spend the time on details, and don’t forget the value of creativity!
7. Campaign #JobSearch: Back that Resume Up Just because you are attempting to “think-outside-the-box,” doesn’t mean you can neglect a full time line resume. Your full time line resume can still be full of life, personality – and accomplishment!
8. Campaign #JobSearch: Slideshow It’s “Showtime!” Kickoff “showtime” on the right foot. Make it clean and simple. Remember that this is the first slide they will see. Have you made it compelling enough for someone to continue on?
9. Campaign #JobSearch: Slideshow “See It. Live It. Believe it.” This slide served as the true “opening.” Try to incorporate a few different elements. Mix fun with business, and information about yourself with media.
10. Campaign #JobSearch: Traditional Press Release “Caveman” marketing came before “Farmville.” I think we need to remember this in all aspects of current marketing careers. Don’t fail to neglect it in your own job search!
11. Campaign #JobSearch: Tell Me What’s Your SWOT? For me, this portion is like the question you get in a live job interview, “So tell me….what are your strengths? How about your weaknesses?” Before they ask that question, be prepared with it.
12. Campaign #JobSearch: When Offline Meets Online Big brands and companies make a marriage out of offline and online. Your personal brand (and any campaign to get hired) should, too!
13. Campaign #JobSearch: Newspaper This was not a rocket-science newspaper. I wanted to make it clear, concise and creative while utilizing an “offline-media” format.
14. Campaign #JobSearch: Magazine + Billboard Newspaper. Magazine. Billboard. Those were the 3 “offline” mediums I chose to incorporate into my Job Search Campaign.
16. Campaign #JobSearch: Blog (Post) Warning: No passion, no hard work and undercooked ideas can be hazardous to your health.
17. Campaign #JobSearch: Micro-Blogging (via Twitter) Think about it: What might you get across in your own Campaign #JobSearch in 140 characters or less?
18. Campaign #JobSearch: YouTube Make sure to incorporate this element. You should be seen. And heard. Market yourself!
20. Campaign #JobSearch: Condense Make it simple. Make it easy. Just because you put a ton of work into the campaign, doesn’t mean you should expect anyone to do a ton of work in attempting to view it.
21. Campaign #JobSearch: Traditional has not Left The trick is forming the perfect marriage out of the traditional and the “new.” Use them both to your advantage!
22. Campaign #JobSearch: Action not Reaction Actions land jobs. Sitting around waiting for someone or something to come to you and then reacting won’t.
