    The Fraternal Care Trust is a legally protected fund which has two purposes: (1) the care of senior friars (2) the formation and education of friars
  • 3. Fraternal Care Trust: Why help?
    Our elder friars spent their earlier years serving God and God’s people.
    Now we are the family that must support them, just as they have supported us.
  • 4. Fraternal Care Trust: Why help?
    Whether we were just starting out in our life of faith, or starting a family, they guided us when we needed their faith.
    Now we are the family that must help them, just as they have helped us.
  • 5. Fraternal Care Trust: Why help?
    When we were grieving the loss of a loved one, they comforted us with their kindness and faith.
    Now we are the family that must support them, just as they have supported us.
  • 6. Fraternal Care Trust: Why help?
    Their lives have been an offering to Godof service and joy. Now, it’s our turn to serve them.

  • 14. Concert at Old Mission
    Mid-summer Melodies
    TODAY July 24, 2011 at 4pm in the Gardens
    $10/general, $8/seniors or students, and $25/family. Bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy this outdoor concert.
    Proceeds will benefit The North Coast Symphony Orchestra and the restoration of Historic Old Mission San Luis Rey.

  • 18. Parish Offices Closed
    The Parish Offices will be closed on Thursday,
    July 28th, 2011. We will return on Friday, July 29th 2011.
    If you have an emergency funeral or Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, please call (760) 583-3393.
  • 19. Registration is Open!
    (Now Through August 31If you have a child or teen that is in need of the Sacraments of First Communion or Confirmation, now is the time to register your child. We also have Catechism classes for preschool children thru 6th grade in English or Spanish. Middle and High School 7th thru 11th grade classes are in English.
    Register in the Parish office or go online for forms to mail in with your check or pay online with Q-Pay.

    The Confirmation Program at Mission San Luis Rey Parish is a one year process which focuses on the Catholic Faith, prayer, ‘hands on’ liturgies, a Franciscan focus on “justice, peace, and the integrity of creation.

    Eligibility: 14 years or older, must have been enrolled in a Catholic School or a Religious Education program within the last two years.
