Today I am going to talk with you for a few minutes about how to prepare a resume. Why are we talking to you today about preparing a resume. Well, one reason is that it is a requirement upon entrance into the Teacher Preparation Academy, it is required when you begin your student teaching placement and it will be an important tool when you apply for a teaching position upon graduation. At each of these milestones, your resume provides the information about your interests and qualifications for a teaching position. With the resume you prepare now for the Teacher Preparation Academy you will be laying a foundation upon which you can build the resume you want and need when you begin applying for a teaching position at graduation.
