  3. 3. TRIGEMINAL NEURALGIA • Tic douloureux. • Irritation of 5th cranial nerve. Eetiology • Unknown etiology. • Intrinsic lesions- multiple sclerosis • Extrinsic lesions- mechanical compression by tumors, vascular anomalies, dental abscesses or jaw malformation.
