Uplands Outreach Secondary Schools programme: An Overview - Presentation Transcript
VISION
• Produce teachers that are leaders in their
classrooms.
• They would therefore be able to manage
their classrooms effectively and
• design learning programmes that will
enable them to facilitate meaningful
learning.
Rationale
The introduction of Mathematics and
Mathematics Literacy as two separate
subjects in the New Curriculum statement
creates an opportunity for teachers to
develop citizens that would be able to
manage their lives effectively. Teachers
however might need assistance to cope
with the changes. As leaders they will be
equipped to manage this effectively.
