  • 2. Early Childhood
    Barack Obama was born on the 4thof August 1961 at Kapi'olani Maternity & GynecologicalHospitain Honolulu.
    He was a only child and his parents separated when he was a young baby.
  • 3. University
    In 1979 Barack Obama moved to Los Angles to attend high school.
    He attended at Occidental College after school.
    He then transferred to Colombia University in New York City.
  • 4. Life at Harvard
    He graduated in 1983.
    He went to Chicago for a job at DCP.
    Then in late 1988 he entered Harvard Law School.
    Then graduated in 1991 and returned to Chicago
  • 5. Political Carer
    In 1996 he was elected Illinois senate.
    He was re elected in 1998 and 2002.
    In 2003, Barack Obama became chairman Senate's Health and Human Services Committee of Illinois
  • 6. Against the War!
    Obama opposed against George W. Bush when he invaded Iraq in 2003.
    Obama addressed the first high-profile Chicago anti-Iraq War rally.
  • 7. Becoming President
    In February on the 10th, in 2007, Obama announced his candidacy for president of the United States of America.
    Barack Obama won the race against George W. Bush and became President of the U.S.
  • 8. Now…
    Barack Obama still remains President to this day.
  • 9. Remembered By
    Obama will be remembered as the 1st African American president of the United States of America. I am interested in Obama as he was the first African American President.
