    • This is a bar graph of homeless students that get sick.
    • For each school year from1999-2003.
    • There is very little change in the graph because homeless students. Have a better chance of getting sick then students that have homes.
  • 3. ANSWERS!
    • Why do homeless students have a better chance of getting sick?
    • Homeless students have no home do not have good water supplies or food. They had to drink water from puddles eat from garbage cans some times a lot of homeless students have to get trash to use as a blanket like this.
  • 4.
    • Instead of using trash they could have a better life they could have great jobs ,homes and they would have a very small chance of getting sick when they were homeless.
  • 5.
    • 42% of homeless children are under the age of five. MISD Homeless Education Project for Children & Youth Student Count by year in Macomb County.
    51% of homeless people in Michigan are adults and children in families.
