Critical Analysis of Team Facilitation
A group consisting of five girls presented the topic of team facilitation. The group
explained what is team facilitation, types of team facilitation, importance and benefits of
team facilitation, barriers to facilitation, skills and strategies of team facilitation.

It was discussed that “There is no I in team.” Teamwork facilitation has the abilities to
serve as a leader & solve problems relating to a group. But along with some barriers as
well which can be highly disastareous.There are some skills ant traits which are of far
reaching importance in improving facilitation. In today’s world of cutthroat competition,
group facilitation plays an important role in the success of business and other fields as
well.

The starting of the presentation was attractive and the group leader was well prepared and
presented her topic confidently. But after that it looked like that there was a lack of
practice. Most of the group members did not practiced a lot due to which they got
confused. The data collected and the slides prepared by the group were good enough. The
members are Noo-rul-ain, Tehreem, Saliha, Rabia, Iram, Humaira


Noo-rul-ain: She had impressive style and her accent was very good.            She should
improve her eye contact and she should improve her flow of speaking.

Tehreem: She had good eye contact. She had good accent. Her voice was very clear. She
should improve her eye contact & way of speaking.

Saliha: Her slides were good because they were not overloaded with data .She had
passive style. So she should make her style more interactive. She was very shy, she so
should develop confidence.

Rabia: Her volume was good & she had a very good flow of speaking. Her style of
speaking was good. Her accent was not clear.

Humaira: Her voice was good. She should improve her eye contact. She had lack of
confidence. Her slides were not good because they are overloaded of data.

Iram: Her accent is clear. She had good volume. She should improve postures & gestures.
She should improve her eye contact & also her style of presenting.

Broadly speaking, the overall presentation was giving the enough idea of the given topic.
In order to increase the effectiveness of the presentation, the group members should be
more confident and they should do more practice.
Critical analysis of Coaching & Mentoring
The group of six girls participated in this presentation. The topic was well described
by the group members. The group explained what is coaching & mentoring? ,
importance of mentoring, skills of mentoring, effective coaching behavior, types of
mentoring, qualities of mentoring , role of mentoring at our place and guide lines to learn
mentoring.

From all this discussion and after conducting this research on the topic, “Coaching and
Mentoring” we have concluded that coaching and mentoring is essential in every field of
life. It should be practiced for success and achieving the targets. As there is a said that
said:
“Behind every successful person, there is one elementary truth: somewhere, somehow,
someone cared about their growth and development. This person was their mentor”

Every member did her best to explain and present the topic in well manner. The
presentation style and communication power was good enough. The group members were
Rafia, Bareera, Beenish, Sadia, Uzma, and Saba.

Rafia: She had a very good voice & clear pronunciation. Her flow was good .She could
make a good presentator. She can make satisfy people easily. But she was a little bit
confused. So she should develop confidence.

Bareera: She had clear accent. She should improve postures & gestures. She should
improve her style of speaking. She should enhance her eye contact.

Beenish: She had good style of presenting. She could easily convey to the listeners what
she wants to convey or say. Her volume was low so she should increase her volume &
she should also improve her eye contact.

Sadia: Her voice was loud so all the listeners can easily listen her. Her accent is clear but
fluency was low. She should improve her flow of speaking.

Uzma: She has good eye contact. She was confused. She should maintain confidence &
she should make her style of presenting more impressive. She should improve her
postures & gestures.

Saba: She was very confident Her eye contact was good but her speed of speaking were
fast so she should slow her speed of conveying ,so that people can easily understand her.

But the topic was presented confidently, effectively, supported with examples and was
well prepared and the group given sufficient material on the topic. The purpose of the
presentation was to tell the students coaching and mentoring are extremely important in
all the fields where we have to guides someone who is less experienced in this area in the
development of their knowledge and experience base, or the achievement of their career
or personal goals.
Critical Analysis of Negotiation
The topic “Negotiation” was presented by a group in which six girls participated. The
topic was interesting enough and handled well by the group members. It was discussed
that, in today’s world of cut throat competition, effective negotiation is extremely
important for handling business dealing and affairs which also helps in decision making
process.

Negotiation is that if opponents misunderstand you, try to understand them. Even if
they're not listening, consult them on matters that affect them. Even if they're trying to
deceive you, be trustworthy yourself. Even if they're trying to coerce you, try to persuade
them and be open to persuasion. And accept them as worthy of your consideration. To
complement the existing literature, a fifth framework is proposed. Viewing negotiation as
a decision-making process is posited to explain, in part, the negotiators' failure to reach
such agreements.

Every member in the group participated with full confidence and posture and gesture. It
was easy to get the clear picture of what they were trying to explain.

Huma: As the group leader she supported very well all the group members. But above all
she had very effecting convincing power to what she explained. in my opinion for her no
suggestion is required.

Nousheen: She participated with confidence but she should enhance her eye contact and
body language. So that she can improve her presentation style.

Rabia: She presented very well but less hand movements can make her presentation style
effective. She should keep gesture smooth and enhanced her frequent eye contact but
body language and posture were good.

Asma: she participated confidently but during presentation couldn’t maintain a good eye
contact. Her volume was bit low but fluency, body language and other parameters were
quietly good.

Humaira: Her volume was low and should improve her eye contact. She should improve
her communication style.

Mobeen: Her accent was good and style was impressive. Gesture, body language and
postures were effectively use and that one can easily grab the point which she was
wanted to explain. Apart from this her fluency, body language, silence and volume were
equally effective.

But the whole group presented in a very effective way and confidently. The group was
well prepared and given sufficient material to the topic.
Critical analysis of Making Effective Meetings

 The topic “Effective Meetings” was presented by a group in which six girls participated.
The topic was interesting enough and handled well by the group members. The group
given adequate idea about the topic and data collected and presented was very simple and
easy to understand. It was explained that how the meetings can be more effective, why
the meetings are important, what are the types of meetings and how can they help us in
our professional lives.

It was discussed that, in today’s world of cut throat competition, effective meetings are
extremely important in business along with other fields. Every business irrespective of its
size and nature has to conduct meetings to run there business affairs smoothly. Therefore,
it is very important to know that how the business meetings can be made more effective
so that it may bring prosperity to the business. It was explained that conducting effective
meetings needs proficient and skillful people and such type of meetings help to define the
objective of the business, its goals and they also help in solving various problems relating
to business. Any type of personal or hidden agendas should not be involved in effective
meetings. Otherwise the meeting will not be able to fulfill its purpose.

As for as the presenting style is concern , all members contributed confidently and
effectively and it was easy to get the clear picture of what they were trying to explain.
The group members were Amber, Saba, Iram, Sana, and Sidra.

Amber Riaz: Her voice was very clear with a clear and good accent. Her pronunciations
were good. She should improve her eye contact and hand movement.

Saba Iqbal: She maintained a good style of presenting and her accent was good. She
should improve her body language and eye contact.

Iram Akmal: She participated with full confidence and kept a good eye contact. She
should improve her flow of speaking and body language.

Sana khursheed: Her voice was loud and clear but she couldn’t communicated well. She
should improve her facial expressions and tone of voice.

Sidra kanwal: Her eye contact was good. She was confident and good voice. She should
improve her posture and gesture and style of presenting.

Apart from this the crux of the presentation was to tell the students that effective meeting
are extremely important in all the fields and most importantly in business concerns where
we have to take right decisions at right time. The topic was presented confidently,
effectively, supported with examples and was well prepared and the group given
sufficient material on the topic.
Critical Analysis of Negotiation
The topic “Negotiation” was presented by the group in which six girls participated. The
group given adequate idea about the topic and data collected and presented in a very
simple manner that was easily understandable. It was explained that you should be able to
negotiate in business dealings and affairs that help in decision making process.

It was described that you want to be unconditionally constructive in business dealings.
Even if the opponent is acting emotional, balance the emotion with reason. If they
misunderstand you, try to understand them. Even if they're not listening, consult them on
matters that affect them. Even if they're trying to deceive you, be trustworthy yourself.
Even if they're trying to coerce you, try to persuade them and be open to persuasion. And
accept them as worthy of your consideration. Viewing negotiation as a decision-making
process is posited to explain, in part, the negotiators' failure to reach such agreements.

The slides were also well prepared and there was coherence in all the parts of the topic
explained by all the group members. The group members were Mariam, Tania. Rabia,
Aleeza, Quratul-ain and Khadija.

Miriam: She was very confident. Her style was very impressive. She maintained good
eye contact and clear voice. She could make a good presentator because she has a very
impressive style. She should improve her movement of hands.

Tania: She was confident. She should improve her movement of hands & she should also
improve her postures and gestures. She should improve her eye contact. She should also
improve her style of presenting.

Rabia: Her slides were very attractive because they are supported with images. She was
little bit confused so she should develop confidence. She should improve her eye contact
and her movement of hands.

Aleeza: She had good volume & eye contact. But due to lack of confidence she was bit
confuse. She should improve her postures & gestures and built confidence.

Qurratul-ain: She was very confident . She had good volume. Her style of presenting was
good. She should also improve her postures and gestures and eye contact.

Khadija: She was very confident and maintained a good eye contact. Her style of
presenting is very good because she can convey easily to the listeners what she want to
convey. She should improve her movement of hands.

But the topic was presented confidently, effectively, supported with examples and was
well prepared and the group given sufficient material on the topic.
Critical Analysis of Networking
A group consisting of four girls presented the topic of “Networking.” It was discussed
that how net working effects our lives and what is the importance of it in this fast going
life. Networking is the ability to actively seek, identify and create effective contacts with
others and maintain those contacts for mutual benefit. Background skills required are
self-confidence, effective communication, building, maintaining, and expanding
networks and collegial relationships. It is the creating contacts with other persons and
maintaining those contacts; acquiring and maintaining information of persons that can
operate as contacts for specific purposes if needed; and using contact persons in an
ethical manner for the purpose of meeting specific goals, e.g. collaboration in projects,
finding information, etc ; setting up and maintaining a peer study group

The topic was described by the group, but there was unclarity at few points, it was not
clear that what were they trying to say. The starting of the presentation was attractive and
the group leader was well prepared and presented her topic confidently. But after that it
looked like that there was a lack of practice. Most of the group members did not practiced
a lot due to which they got confused. The data collected and the slides prepared by the
group were good enough, but it was not appropriately presented by some of the group
members. The reason for this may be that it was their first formal presentation and they
found it difficult to cope up with such a big crowd. Although they tried their level best.

Kiran: She had impressive style and her accent was very good. She should improve her
eye contact and she should improve her flow of speaking.

Sana: She had good eye contact. She had good accent. Her voice was very clear. She
should improve her eye contact & way of speaking.

Saba: Her slides were good because they were not overloaded with data .She had passive
style. So she should make her style more interactive. She was very shy, she so should
develop confidence.

Saba: Her volume was good & she had a very good flow of speaking. Her style of
speaking was good. Her accent was not clear.

But in spite of all these facts, they made a good effort. They need to do practice a lot in
order to make their presentation more effective.
