I think the best Magazine Institute that would be best to distribute
my magazine would be IPC because it already distributes NME
which is a weekly music magazine whereas my magazine is a
monthly magazine, this would mean that it wouldn’t disrupt the sales
of NME. My magazine is aimed at the R&B/ Hip Hop Genre and
there isn't really a magazine that IPC have distributed of this genre
because NME is more the indie genre so I think there would be a
good market for them. IPC already have experience on distributing
music magazine and the locations that they should be sold in what
shops. I would use this magazine institute because they have
experience in publishing and imgresdistributing magazines.
Magazines would be eager to buy a magazine that is of the same
company as NME has already got a good reputation. This magazine
institute would be best to sell my magazine because it has the right
contacts and also it has a music magazine of a different genre
which would mean that the sales of NME would remain the same so
it wouldn’t effect the sales of NME which is good. A publishing
company is to make information for the media, they are used to
distribute magazines in the right places for the target audience.
