gaming, in a way that is simplified and intriguing enough to provide entertainment
value, yet authentic enough to serve educational and information purposes. In
/ Robotics, the contestants will each build robots or machines to perform the tasks
that are assigned them. Whoever's robot(s) wins the challenge, wins the round. The
show will span 13 weeks of competitions between 12 teams, culminating in a Final,
featuring 3 teams where a winner eventually emerges.

    • / Robotics is a syndicated Reality TV Show merging Robotics technology with gaming, in a way that is simplified and intriguing enough to provide entertainment value, yet authentic enough to serve educational and information purposes. In / Robotics, the contestants will each build robots or machines to perform the tasks that are assigned them. Whoever's robot(s) wins the challenge, wins the round. The show will span 13 weeks of competitions between 12 teams, culminating in a Final, featuring 3 teams where a winner eventually emerges. ROBOTICS IN BRIEF Building a technologically driven society
    • Ÿ Promoting a society that is technologically driven. Ÿ Simplifying technology and making it more interesting and attractive to learn. Ÿ Encouraging entrepreneurs and innovators to develop ideas and investing in a body of world-class, commercially useful research and the researchers to create it Ÿ Nurturing engineering education and skills through leadership, policy advice and programmes to enhance teaching and learning Ÿ Inspiring young people to become engineers, increasing diversity across the profession and celebrating engineering excellence and innovations Ÿ Leading the profession, harnessing strengths and echoing the engineering institutions Ÿ Recognizing great engineering through prizes and awards OUR OBJECTIVE Building a technologically driven society
    • To build a Nigeria that understands and maximizes technology as a tool for national development. OUR VISION To raise a generation of informed, capable, efficient and competent engineers that can represent Nigeria on the world stage. OUR MISSION Building a technologically driven society
    • Nigeria can and WILL become a technologically savvy country if the right mechanisms are put in place. The best group of people to target for impacting knowledge of technology and artificial intelligence is the younger generation who can then, over the years, build on the knowledge gathered. A great way of improving Nigeria's technological stand is through a TV show that deals with such. WE BELIEVE Building a technologically driven society
    • Ÿ According to international development watchers, no nation in the world can achieve greatness without a strong science and technology base. Ÿ In the past four decades, Nigeria has lacked the technological know-how to transform its natural resources into finished products, increasing overall imports and negatively affecting development. Ÿ Lack of exposure to practical training for engineers is one of the major challenges to science and technology development in Nigeria. Ÿ With the advent of computers, the world has evolved into a technologically-driven one and any country that wants to be relevant must embrace technology as part of its development process. ENGINEERING CHALLENGES Building a technologically driven society
    • ROBOTICS is a platform intended to: Ÿ Create an avenue for engineering education and training that satisfies the aspirations of young people while delivering the high caliber engineers and technicians that businesses need. Ÿ Focus on the nation's need to rebalance the economy through innovation, entrepreneurship and investment in productive industry. Ÿ Encourage more people, especially young women to embrace engineering while eradicating gender prejudice in our nation Ÿ Reach out via media to people from a wider range of backgrounds, to work and practice engineering, also promoting engineering research. Ÿ Harness the collective expertise, energy and capacity of the engineering profession to enhance the Nigerian economic and social development. Ÿ Lead the response to unexpected engineering challenges and improve public understanding on engineering and industrialization. Ÿ Increase awareness of how engineering impact on lives and increase public recognition for our most talented engineers via media and entertainment.
