  • 1. Support for Alcoholics from an Alcohol Help HotlineWhat is an Alcohol Help Hotline? An alcohol hipline is the phone number people call when they want to get help and know other information aboutalcoholics, support groups, treatments, and rehabilitation centers. There are a lot of alcohol help hotlines in everystate in the United States. Some of these numbers are for alcoholics in general but some of them are focused onalcoholic men, alcoholic women, or alcoholic teens. These phone numbers are toll-free so callers are not chargedfor calling them. These are also available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.Alcohol Help Hotline: Looking For Treatment and Support GroupsIf a concerned family member or friend wants to help an alcoholic, he or she can call an alcohol help hotline to lookfor treatment facilities and support for alcoholics groups. There are also plenty of treatment programs available foralcoholics, some of them are given for free. By calling a hotline, he or she can know what treatment option orfacility is suitable for the alcoholic family member or friend. Some of these include detox programs, 12 stepprograms and community-based rehabilitation centers.Alcohol Help Hotline: Telephone SupportAlcoholics themselves can call an alcohol help hotline if they want to get help. This is ideal for people who want toseek help and talk to someone but do not want to join a support group. Some people choose to do this because ofthe anonymity afforded by phone calls. Some alcoholics are wary of face-to-face interaction in group and supportmeetings because of the shame and stigma of their condition. This can also help the alcoholic while he or she iswaiting to be admitted in a treatment program or facility.Keep in mind that alcoholism support or alcohol dependence is a serious disease that can lead to direconsequences. A great number of alcoholics need all the help they can get because they will not get better if theyare left on their own devices. With a call to the alcohol help hotline and support and treatment from family andfriends, an alcoholic can get rid of the addiction and lead a better life.Call toll free for immediate help : (855) 937-7342alco24151131holism
