  • 3. SOURCE<br />Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate, so we can buy “stuff” we don't need<br />Media<br />Availability<br />Greed<br />Low Self-Esteem<br />
  • 4. INFLUENCE<br />The only reason a great many American families don't own an elephant is that they have never been offered an elephant for a dollar down and easy weekly payments.<br />Dissatisfaction<br />Depression<br />Distraction<br />
  • 5. Way OUT<br />Most of us want more income, so we can consume more. Yet as societies become richer, they do not become happier. In fact, the First World has more depression, more alcoholism and more crime than fifty years ago. <br />from ‘Owning’ to ‘Sharing’<br />Volunteer - Community Work<br />Awareness<br />
  • 6. MATERIALISM<br />Let’s educate ourselves, our children and our society the theory of materialism… and set examples for our family and friends and strengthen our believe that more material or possessions will not bring more HAPPINESS…<br />
