  • 2. TOPICAIRCRAFT NATIONALITY AND CERTIFICATIONS
  • 3. WHAT IS AIRCRAFT NATIONALITY?Aircraft nationality identifies that from whichcountry an aircraft belongs to.
  • 4. INTRODUCTIONNo person may operate a civil aircraft registered in a STATE unless it displays nationality and registration marks in accordance with the requirements. The letter or letters used to identify the aircraft nationality as of STATE shall confirm to the requirements.
  • 5. This is to be followed by a series of numbers or letters assigned by the Director General.Unless otherwise authorized by the Authority, no person may place on any aircraft a design, mark, or symbol that modifies or confuses the nationality and registration marks.
  • 6. Permanent marking of aircraft nationality and registration shallBe painted on the aircraft or affixed by other means insuring a similar degree of permanenceHave no ornamentationContrast in color with the backgroundBe legible, andBe kept clean and visible at all times.

  • 10. EXAMPLEThe nationality mark of an aircraft registeredin Pakistan shall be the letters "AP".
  • 11. CERTIFICATION
  • 12. CERTIFICATIONThe aircraft certification means that the aircraft is certified for some purposesIt is issued by AMOs (aircraft maintenance organization).The aircraft certificate is signed by Director General in Pakistan.
  • 13. AIRWORTHINESSGiving a permission to any aircraft to fly.Issued by AMOSigned by DGShould be in aircraftShould also be on ground as a record.Aircraft shall not fly without having certificate of airworthiness.
  • 14. ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATEApply to DGIssued by AMOAllowed by DG
  • 15. CANCELLATION OF CERTIFICATEInspection by DG.Cancelled by DG.Aircraft shall not allow to fly anymore.Renew of certificate.Validity of certificate.
  • 16. CONCLUSIONOnly the aircraft having certificate can fly.
