Sound wave Sound wave Presentation Transcript

    • Sound Wave Korean artist Jean Shin created this sculpture "Sound Wave" (2007) out of melted vinyl records to connote "the inevitable waves of technology that render each successive generation of recordable media obsolete.“ I think this sculpture is very environmentally friendly because it re-uses old records which most people just pile up and don’t use again. The sculpture looks very good and must have taken a long time to make because as you can see to melt each record to the other and create a structure would take a long time. I think this sculpture inspires people to make more sculptures made from recycled materials as it looks great and a lot of people can’t waste time on buying new materials and being not environmentally friendly.
