    • Largest social networking site in the world
    • Largest growing demographic is >25
    • More women than men
    • Users primarily in US, Canada and UK
    • Ability to find and interact with current and potential customers
    • Highly targeted advertising and social interaction
  4. Just because you’re not on facebook…doesn’t mean your brand isn’t.
    • BRAND PRESENCE
  5. Create a page
    • Go to facebook.com
    • Scroll to bottom right and click ‘Advertising’
    • Click ‘Create facebook page’ on right
    • Choose your kind of business and enter your business name
    • You’ll need to sign up for facebook if you don’t already have an account
    • You’ll be taken to your page template where you can customize your page

    • Blog feeds
    • Twitter feeds
    • Pictures, videos, screenshots etc.
    • Bios
    • Links
    • Custom apps
    • Interact, interact, interact!
  8. Go get ‘em!
    • Do NOT build a page and wait for people to come to you. Build RELATIONSHIPS!
    • Invite friends to become fans, get your fans to invite their friends
    • Network with relevant user groups
    • Link to your facebook page from your blog or website
    • Make sure your content is fresh

    • Go to facebook.com
    • Scroll to bottom right and click ‘Advertising’
    • Click ‘Create facebook ad’ on right
    • Enter the URL of your business website
    • Create your ad copy and choose an image
    • Choose your target audience
    • Select your pre-set ad spend. You may pay for clicks or views.
