  4. 4. Songs 4 Worship Soul Songs 4 Worship Soul Streets 3/31/09 For the first time, legendary stars of Soul lend their powerful voices to the greatest worship songs of all time to create a one-of-a-kind album that celebrates the powerful bond between Soul artists and their faith. Songs 4 Worship Soul is an all-new recording featuring a who’s who of Soul superstars including Brian McKnight, Deniece Williams, Ruben Studdard, Peabo Bryson, Teddy Pendergrass, Jody Watley and Melba Moore. These artists have sold million of albums individually and now they come together to perform inspirational & Worship classics such as Shout to the Lord, Open My Heart, Heaven Help Us, Redeemer, Oh Happy Day, You’re Gonna Make It and Total Praise.   Supported by a 1/2 hour special to air on the BET network (which reaches over 80 million households); the show will feature performances and interviews from the artists. Time Life will also produce a 2 minute DRTV spot to air during the program as well as on BETJ, TV One and UPN. Focused markets include New York City, Philly, Chicago, Dallas, D.C. and Atlanta   Songs 4 Worship is the top-selling worship brand of all time with over 20 million CDs sold and over $50 million in TV advertising to date. 4
  5. 5. Hank Williams: Gospel Keepsakes Hank Williams: The Unreleased Recordings Gospel Keepsakes Streets 4/7/09 By all accounts, Hank Williams was a profoundly spiritual man who felt the pain of doing wrong. He channeled some of the pain that comes from knowing right and doing right into one of the most popular hymns of the twentieth century: I Saw the Light.   But commercial pressures meant that Williams rarely recorded gospel music for his releases; however, when he made his recordings for the Mother's Best Flour shows he made sure that religious music was well represented. There were old time jubilee “shouts,” formal hymns, recitations, African American gospel songs and southern quartet music. All of those styles are represented on Gospel Keepsakes. It's a very rich assortment that captures Hank Williams at his most impassioned. This 15-track CD includes a never-before-released version of Williams' classic I Saw the Light, as well as a previously unreleased version of the southern gospel classic Thirty Pieces of Silver. Some other songs include Farther Along, as well as standards like Precious Lord Take My Hand, When God Dips His Love in My Heart, Old Country Church and Drifting Too Far From the Shore. The New York Times says — “And his voice! These recordings get the fullness and breadth of it, the cool, plummy croon turning to a hot laser through some trick of throat and nose. Truly one of the best records ever.” 5
  6. 6. Songs 4 Worship Country Live Songs 4 Worship Country Live Streets 6/2/09 Songs 4 Worship Country Live is the highly anticipated follow up to Songs 4 Worship Country, one of the top-selling Country and Worship albums in the past year.   Recorded live at the Historic Ryman Theater in downtown Nashville, Songs 4 Worship Country Live brings together an amazing array of stars performing the greatest Worship anthems of all time including On Bended Knees, Shout the to Lord, I Can Only Imagine and Awesome God. Hosted by country great Ricky Skaggs, Songs 4 Worship Country Live is anchored by contemporary and traditional country stars who deliver powerful, inspiring performances in this intimate setting including Alabama, Randy Travis, Josh Turner, Richie MacDonald (formerly of Lonestar), Collin Raye, Bryan White, Susan Ashton, Rebecca Lynn Howard and Linda Davis.   Released in the Fall of 2007, Songs 4 Worship Country has scanned over 160,000 units and has remained on the Billboard Top Country album chart since its release. With over $50 million spent to date on TV ads for the Songs 4 Worship series, Time Life has created huge brand awareness and demand for this series.   National DRTV campaign to run in heavy rotation this spring on CMT, GAC, ION, the Family Channel, Lifetime & more. Songs 4 Worship: Country Love will be worked to both Country and Christian radio. 6
  7. 7. Collin Raye: Never Going Back Collin Raye: Never Going Back Streets 4/28/09   Ask about Collin Raye and his music and those who represent him will tell you about his five Platinum Albums, fifteen #1 hits and twenty-four top 10 songs. And they'll also let you know that he is one of the best vocalists and live entertainers around and cite his five nominations as Country Music's Male Vocalist of the Year. Few artists are lucky enough to have a career that keeps going in new directions.   But Collin Raye is one of the lucky few to sustain not only a full and viable music career, but also one who keeps gaining new fans and audiences with each new project. Raye’s new album won’t disappoint his legions of fans as he lends his strong tenor to 10 newly-penned adult contemporary original songs plus two favorite covers: Stuck In the Middle with You and Without You, featuring a duet with Susan Ashton.   Marketing: Booked on The Today Show, Better TV, Sean Hannity Show, The Huckabee Report, Bloomberg TV and Fox & Friends   Touring: Raye will be touring extensively to promote this release with shows in UT, IN, FL, NV, PA, OR and CA. 7
  8. 8. Adam Hood: Different Groove Adam Hood: Different Groove Streets 5/5/09 The American South has a long history of serving as a fertile breeding ground for singer/songwriters who instinctively meld the various musical elements of their environs. Alabama native Adam Hood carries on that tradition. Like a really good gumbo, there are a lot of subtle flavors mixing together in his personal brand of Southern music – blues, folk, country, rock – all wrapped around lyrics that sound too insightful for someone his age. “DIFFERENT GROOVE” marks Hood’s first full studio album. A true collaborative effort, Hood found a musical kinship with Grammy Award-winning producer/guitarist Pete Anderson (Dwight Yoakam, Roy Orbison, k.d.lang, Sara Evans, Buck Owens, Flaco Jimenez, Michelle Shocked) and entrusted him to help capture the spontaneity and compelling nature of his music within the parameters of a recording studio. In the end, they decided the only way to accomplish this was to cut the basic rhythm tracks live, pulling together some of the most soulful roots players in Los Angeles. Starting with this musical “roux,” Pete went on to add further seasoning to get everything just right. The results are obvious – this is a “deep” and riveting work, harkening back to the raw musicality of early recordings by Bob Dylan, The Band, and even Al Green. Hood has already built a strong following by touring nearly 300 days a year. Recently, he has been a regular opening act across the country for the legendary Leon Russell. He has also opened shows for such artists as Pat Green, Todd Snider, Delbert McClinton, Dave Alvin, Ian Moore, and Shelby Lynne, among many others 8
  9. 9. The Toxic Avenger Musical The Toxic Avenger quot;is bringing audiences spontaneously to their feet.quot; The Toxic Avenger Musical Cast Album Streets 5/5/09 He’s New Jersey‘s first Superhero and he takes to the stage in this rock ‘n roll monster of a comedy. Thrown into a vat of toxic goo by two bullies, a mild-mannered science student named Melvin Ferd the Third is reborn as a one-of-a-kind environmental crusader, The Toxic Avenger! Armed with superhuman strength and a heart as big as Newark, he’s out to save New Jersey, end global warming and woo the prettiest, blindest librarian in town. He’ll leave you laughing in the aisles as he rocks the house and saves the earth for all of mankind. The Toxic Avenger features music and lyrics by David Bryan (keyboardist and founding member of Bon Jovi), and is directed by Tony Award winner John Rando (Urinetown). With no less than twenty-three Rockin’ musical numbers including “Choose Me Oprah” and “Hot Toxic Love” the Toxic Avenger Musical delivers a heady dose of humor that will leave you with a big green glow! 9
  10. 10. Tanya Tucker :My Turn Tanya Tucker: My Turn Streets 6/2/09 Tanya Tucker is one of the most popular and enduring Queens of Country Music. Since her first hit at age 13, Tucker’s cherished, smoky voice has been the constant in her multi-platinum career. In her new album Tucker brings her distinctive style to some of the greatest Classic Country songs of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s including Wine Me Up, Oh, Lonesome Me, After the Fire is Gone, Crazy Arms, Lovesick Blues and Ramblin’ Fever. Know for her solidly traditional approach to Country music, the record will be fairly true to the originals but will have a strong edge that only Tucker can deliver. All songs chosen were originally recorded by men, including George Jones, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Lefty Frizell, Don Gibson, Faron Young and Conway Twitty.   Noted producer Pete Anderson has been brought on to oversee the album. Anderson produced all the big Dwight Yoakam records during Dwight's heyday and also produced the gold album by Michelle Shocked quot;Short, Sharp, Shocked.quot;  Tucker has charted nearly 60 times in her career and has had 10 #1 hit songs. 10

  13. 13. The Blind Boys of Alabama: Live In New Orleans The Blind Boys of Alabama: Live in New Orleans Streets 2/24/09 Running Time:  100 Minutes 5.1 Surround Sound The Blind Boys of Alabama went down to New Orleans to play a sold-out show during the first weekend of Jazzfest 2008 -- part of  New Orleans Musical Royalty. Appropriate, of course, because the city was the focus of the band's latest Grammy Nominated CD: Down in New Orleans. And for Jazzfest, their show was at the iconic crescent city club Tipitina's. So now we've got the Blind Boys singing about New Orleans in New Orleans...and they invited some special guests to join them: Dr John, Susan Tedeschi, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Henry Butler (a blind New Orleans pianist) and Marva Wright (New Orleans queen of gospel and blues).   The concert set included new and old favorites -- selections from Down in New Orleans as well as songs from the Blind Boys' four Grammy-winning CDs, and a few classic gospel tunes for good measure. The packed crowd went wild and this rousing and historic show was preserved for posterity on our new DVD. The Blind Boys of Alabama: Live in New Orleans Performances: Amazing Grace, Spirit in the Sky, Down in the Hole, People Get Ready (w/ Susan Tedeschi), Free at Last (w/ Susan Tedeschi), How I Got Over (Marva Wright), Make a Better World (w/ Dr. John), You Better Mind, Bourbon St. Parade Winner of the 2009 Grammy Lifetime Achievement (Preservation Hall only -- marching in), Uncloudy Day (w/ Award & Best Traditional Gospel Album Preservation Hall), You Got to Move (w/ Pres Hall),  If I Could Help Somebody (w Henry Butler),  Down by the Riverside (Henry Butler and Pres Hall),  Look Where He Brought Me From, Someone Watches Over Me, I'll Fly Away (Susan Tedeschi, Marva Wright and Pres Hall), I'll Fly Away (reprise). 13
  14. 14. This is Tom Jones: What’s New Pussycat? This is Tom Jones: What’s New Pussycat? Streets 4/7/09 Running Time:60 Minutes Network television needed a healthy dose of youthful sex appeal and swagger in the late ‘60s....enter Tom Jones, a man who oozed charisma thanks to his powerhouse voice and slick stage moves. At the age of 28, he hosted his own weekly musical variety show. This is Tom Jones brings back the hip, high-energy hour of entertainment that ran on ABC from 1969 to 1971. Shot in London and Hollywood, the program attracted the biggest stars of the day.   This is Tom Jones: What’s New Pussycat? features some of the greatest moments from his iconic show including performances by the Bee Gees and John Denver. Tom also turns up the heat with his own Show stopping performances of What’d I Say?, (Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay and All Right Now.   Plus, George Carlin and Tim Conway deliver classic comic routines in addition to other musical performances by Mamma Cass Elliot, Sergio Mendes and Lynn Redgrave. 14
  15. 15. Let Freedom Sing: How Music Shaped the Civil Rights Movement Let Freedom Sing: How Music Shaped the Civil Rights Movement (DVD) Streets 5/5/09 They raised their voices in song against inequality and racism. They gave the Civil Rights movement its anthems and its soul. They were the singers and songwriters who fought for change and gave us songs like Blowin’ in the Wind, Oh Freedom, People Get Ready, Respect, and Fight the Power. Those songs and many others are at the core of this exclusive, feature-length movie edition of LET FREEDOM SING—How Music Inspired the Civil Rights Movement. Hosted by Louis Gossett Jr. these are dramatic first-person accounts by Mississippi Freedom Riders who sang to give themselves courage in the face of grave danger. There are the songs from the 1963 March on Washington when Dr. Martin Luther King gave his “I Have a Dream” speech. And there are award-winning artists and musicians whose songs inspired a generation to take up the struggle for civil rights and human rights throughout America and the world. LET FREEDOM SING retells one of the greatest stories in American history. Billie Holiday’s song about lynching, Strange Fruit, and the scalding bitterness of Big Bill Broonzy’s When Do I Get to Be Called a Man? take us back to the era of brutally enforced segregation. But the story sweeps us to the heart of the movement in the 1960s and explores its continuing impact on music, politics, and culture in the decades that followed. With never-before- seen historic footage and remarkable new interviews with Gladys Knight, Ruby Dee, Jimmy Carter, Chuck D., Andrew Young, and Pete Seeger, among many others. 15
