    • Online Course Safeguarding Children Refresher Training
    • Safeguarding Children Refresher Training It is a statutory requirement for anyone who works with children to update their knowledge of legislation and guidance and maintain the ability to act on concerns about the safety and welfare of children and young people. The government guidance suggests that refresher training should take place every three years. Whilst necessary, this can be costly for organisations and frustrating for staff, who may have heavy case loads and find it difficult to get away from work to attend a refresher course. This online Safeguarding Children Refresher course has been developed in collaboration with experts from six Safeguarding Children Boards, which covers all the changes in Safeguarding Children over the last three years. On completion of this course learners will be able to: • Identify the changes to practice over the past three years. • Identify different levels of harm & the appropriate safeguarding processes to be followed. • Receive safeguarding children information from both a local and national context. Accreditation The content of this course has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines. Duration Approximately 2 - 3 hours. The length of time taken depends entirely on how quickly you can study and absorb the material. You can proceed as quickly or slowly as you like, and there is no limit on how long you can take to do the course. E-LEARNING Learn Online
