  • The portal into the Homecoming website – designed to speak to alumni/friends, faculty/staff, and our studentsWhen you compare this year’s site against last years – in regards to views/visits from October 1 – 20 – 21,221 unique viewers in two and a half months (Aug. – Oct. Homecoming) … almost a 27% increase from this time last yearAnd when the visit, they spend about 45 seconds on a page…which is a long time in web terms!
  • Collected contact information for 130 new users
  • Added an automated feed with the University calendar to show event location on the map
  • Brian and I are connected with almost 20 different Facebook pages related to Illinois State. We focused our marketing efforts for HC to the general ISU fan page and the Homecoming fan site on facebook – through these two arenas we were able to focus our marketing directly to the mobile device and computer screen of over 12,300 people***We more than doubled the number of fans on the Homecoming Facebook page since August 1

  • For the first time ever, social networking links were placed on the “front page” of the University’s site.
