    • Give people something they’ll find immediately useful.
    • Provide continuing value.

    • Teach people about your competencies.
    • Show people your character.
    • Be yourself.
  • 6. Next actions:
    • Create a personal website if you don’t have one already. Post contact information, your biography, maybe even a blog.
    • Make people aware of your site. (Business card, e-mail signature, conversations…)
    • Look for ways to add value. How can you bring your real-life conversations online? How can you turn more online conversations into real-life value?
