Keegan’s POTW Solution
The easiest way to complete this problem is to use a quartic regression equation to find the value of P(0).
To do a quartic regression, you put the points into STAT.
After the points are added, you can go to StatCALC to
Calculate the quartic regression.
This is the equation for the quartic regression.
With a R squared value of 1, this quartic is the best fit line for the points.
Since e=2.5 from the
regression equation,
you know that P(0)=2.5
