ThungaBaiAmmal and her husband  Sri  C K  S  Pillay<br />
What  shall I do next?<br />This  little  girl was quite a tomboy, don’t get fooled by her innocent looks!<br />
Mummy’s only sister PirojaBai, V.A. Chelvaraj and their children Venkatesh and Parvati<br />
Three little angels, Periamma’s  elder daughters.<br />
The grandmother  we  never knew, and   PeriyaThatha<br />
Where  is  the girl  of  my dreams?<br />She must be somewhere…just help me find her!<br />
He  not only stole this picture <br />of her, but also her heart…….<br />
An outstanding sportsman,tennis, hockey, billiards…..<br />Wow !  Isn’t he handsome? No wonder the young LeelaPillay flipp...
And  so they were married, to live happily ever after….<br />This is the GangadharaMudaliar family that the young LeelaPil...
These gorgeous girls in the family became her friends, and she was christened Chinna<br />Mummy, and remains so to her chi...
Naina could not bear separation from his wife, so got his father-in-law to live with them!<br />And they were one big happ...

Now, when is the stork due?<br />
Will   it   be   a   boy   or   a   girl   again,  we  wonder?<br />
A family of four…..<br />
Till I came along!<br />
Grand fathers  are   so   so  special!<br />
This baby is too heavy, can someone take her off my lap?<br />Me, heavy?  Too funny for words!<br />
Wonder  if my elder sis  will teach me  a thing  or two?<br />
I  hate  being  photographed! And why should I say cheeeese?<br />

And  then  came  the  littlest   doll   Malini….<br />
It’s  a wedding, and you  are supposed to smile!<br />
The  cousins  meet  at  23  Mosque  Road………<br />
Mummy  always  made  birthdays  special<br />

Sabita weds Kittu  on May 28 1961<br />

What greater joy than to  hold  my great grandson?<br />

Holidays meant cousins meeting, and  being pampered by  grandma<br />

Those  were  the days…….happy times ! Pradeep and Anindita<br />get married….<br />
Deepika  and  Rajagopal follow suit two years later<br />

  • Hi Sabi, what a lot of work you did for your mum. I love the slideshow, but unfortunately from pcs 25 on the slides did not convert properly. Anyhow I love the old pcs. Now I see the first picture of your hansome father. You look like him and Mala and Deepa look like your mother.
    Very clever of you, I should not know how to do this ... Applause.
