The student used Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Publisher software to construct a magazine cover, contents page, and double page spread, learning how to add photos and text. They also used an SLR camera provided by their college to take photos, which they received instruction on from teachers. Additionally, the student created blog posts using Blogger and downloaded unique fonts from DaFont.com to add visual interest to their work.

2. I used Adobe photoshop software to construct my magazine, the magazine cover and the contents page. I used this because it was the software made available to me in college. I had some knowledge in photoshop, so creating effects was easier. For effects I wished to create, for example polaroid effects, I used internet tutorials. I also asked teachers for help in certain areas.

3. I used microsoft publisher for my double page spread. I used this program because it was easier to construct text. I used photoshop to edit the photos, then added them to the document to change this easily.

4. For my photoshoots I used an SLR camera, these where made available to me in college. I found it really useful because the cameras are really good, however, they are quite high tech and took some getting used to. Teachers in college showed me how to use the camera.

5. I used blogger, to create and publish my blog posts. I thought it was really effective because I could add pictures and presentations.

6. I used DaFont.com to download fonts that weren’t available to me on computers. It was really good because they was some quite abstract fonts that made interesting effects.
