  1. 18 July - 24 July A. Slideshare URL for Article # 1
  2. The Title is...Possible health effects of nuclear crisisAs you can see, when big earthquake coming on 3.11,there are many problems that we may not solve, forexample we have to remake location in Tohoku, tosupply of electric power and to solve the nuclear crisis. Now I am going to talk about radiation.
  3. How is nuclear radiation harmful?AnswerRadiation of any type speeds up the growth rateof cells and in high doses can cause burns. Theever-so-common sunburn is actually a radiationburn because the sun gives off radiation. This isalso why people who stay out in the sun withoutproper protection from it are more likely to getskin cancer. This is because skin cancer is therapid and uncontrolled growth of cells.
  4. How can nuclear radiation be harmful toDNA?AnswerWhen radiation strikes complex biologicalmolecules such as protiens or nucleic acids ,itmay fracture the molecules and prevent theirproper functioning. This can result in loss of cellvitality, decreased enzyme activity, initiation ofcancer and genetic mutations.
  5. What is risk of radiation in California by Japan crisis?Currently, you are far more likely to be hit by lightening twice than tohave any issue with the radiation from Japan in any portion of theUnited States. The background radiation numbers in Tokyo (only 150 miles awayfrom the problem) are roughly the same as we have normally in NewYork. You will receive more radiation from a window seat in a plane, then you will from this situation.
  6. What is japan radiation?Radiation is when nuclear leaks into the air and you inhaleit it hurts you and can kill you. You experience radiation allthe time! In x-rays! But the radiation in those are so lessthat it cant hurt you.
  7. How bad is the radiation in Japan? In the local area of the reactor, it is many times over normal. In areaslike Tokyo the background is about twice the norm.Twice the normal background for Tokyo is almost half as much as thenorm for London, or about the same as New York City.
  8. ConclusionI read this article and felt sad how danger Japan is because of nuclearof radiation. So today I talked about...How is nuclear radiation harmful? How can nuclear radiation be harmful to DNA?What is risk of radiation in California by Japan crisis? What is japan radiation? How bad is the radiation in Japan?I wish you could be take care about them.See you..
