  • 3. Introduction● In July 7, large earthquake occurred at the Kermadec Islands region of New Zealand.● This earthquake measured at magnitude 7.6.● The U.S. Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued tsunami warnings.
  • 4. Information of this earthquake● Date and time of occurrence 4:03 July 7, 2011.● This earthquake measured at magnitude 7.6. ● Earthquake center South Pacific Ocean at latitude 29.4 southand longitude 175.7 west.
  • 5. Damage situation● The degree of damage was fewer, because there is area that thinly-peopled.● Because massive earthquake struck, result in an increased anxiety the people of New Zealand.
  • 6. Tsunami damage● Remarkable damage was nothing.● The 1-meter tsunami was monitored at Raoul Island.● The New Zealand government has appealed for people to step away from coast.
