  3. 3.  Craigslist is the site that classified ads with many categories.  For example : housing, jobs, sales and so on. Everyone can post ads free if you have account. Everyone can create community, too. Craigslist web site is utilitarian and user-friendly. Each category have subcategory and making easy navigation.  For example : the “for sale” category has subcategories like computers, books, sports, etc. User can use tags to other posts. The tags are used to not only favorite and effective posts but wrong posts.
  4. 4.  When Craigslist is started, only listed ads and announcements within San Francisco. But now it grow bigger and 450 city have a Craigslist community site. Community have moderations, so their discussions are smooth. If community don’t have them, Craigslist staff have more works than now. Now Craigslist is big site. Every month Craigslist has several million ads, job postings, forum sections, photos upload and users. And many people see the site.
  5. 5.  Craigslist communities have people. They are different type people. For example, they are young, old, men, women and they have different jobs. They can post forums, make new friend. You can get the information that you need. Craigslist’s best advantage is “Community”.
  6. 6.  Each year since 1999, Craigslist becoming has a powerful financial force. Craig Newmark is the founder and chairman of Craigslist, and Jim Buckmaster is not only the CEO but also a lead developer for the site. Craigslist is setting fees to selected ads.  For example, the job posting in Boston, Los Angeles, New York City, San Diego, Seattle, Washington, D.C and San Francisco and so on. Craigslist features no advertising. So, Craigslist site page is no advertising like banner ads.
  7. 7.  One of the biggest challenges for the craigslist community is weeding out scam artists.  For example, bait-and-switch schemes, phishing schemes and so on. So, Craigslist imposes users to first click on a button that says they understand and accept the terms of use when users posting for prevent scams
