Explain major point ● Content ➢ The goal of a talk is similar to the goal of a technical paper ➢ you have done some research, and you need to convince the audience that the research is useful and solves a real problem. ● Slide ● Do not use the same title on multiple slides. ● The last slide should be a contributions or conclusions slide.
  • 6. Explain major point ● Presentation ➢ When you give a presentation, you should point audience. ➢ You should make eye contact the audience. ● Answer questions ➢ You have practice talks to other people who are willing to ask such questions.
  • 7. Explain major point ● Practice talks ➢ You should have a practice talk before your presentation. ➢ You should think how the talk will go. ➢ You need to consider videotaping yourself to see how you come across to others.
