Sustainable Fish Farming Canada completed construction of its aquaculture facility. An American couple secured permanent resident status and will soon start equestrian and vineyard businesses.

Helped the Walton Area Development Assoc. apply for funds to develop a CED plan.   • Business Development RP BD CD Ad sample outputs sample outcomes Implemented the pilot Hants County business clinic (2 start-up workshops and a coaching series). Co-hosted a public workshop to raise awareness of Minas Basin Pulp & Power’s Tidal Energy Project. BRE client is negotiating a joint venture with a Japanese multinational. BRE client landed a $4.75 million American defense contract.
  • Advocacy RP BD CD Ad sample outputs sample outcomes Completed an advocacy process checklist and research on advocacy strategies. Participated in the Premier’s tour of East Hants. Minister of Natural Resources acknowledged influence of RDA support for Fundy Gypsum expansion. Deputy Premier pledged support for maintaining the railway from Halifax to Hantsport.
