  • 11. Second Facebook Fanpage Tips Set up an account for yourself, the human that is! Talk about yourself as a human!! Then make a “fanpage” for your business Use a Company logo for a photo Invite all your friends!
  • 12. Finally Twitter Tips Have one account for your business ex: @TheWineShop Have an account for each employee ex: @BobtheGoodEmployee Link to your website or Facebook fanpage on your Twitter Profile Use a Company logo for a photo Download and install Tweetdeck (google it!)

Today consumers want to tell their friends what their doing when they are doing it, including buying wine! Put up information in your store for people to research wines Offer a computer terminal where all the bookmarks are for your websites, twitter accounts, flickr, youtube, and others. Encourage people to use your store to LEARN about wine

Bonus Tips: Make sure to take notes Use Youtube to show yourself unboxing exciting new wines Use Flickr to show your inventory, employees, and events Keep a screen in your shop where people can see what others are saying about you Give users of Foursquare special benefits Try out Google Buzz and use it to talk to your customers Ustream, 12seconds.tv, Youtube Get listed on: Adegga(share your TN’s here) Display your links to social media at the checkout counter!
