  • Add-ons don’t solve everything. They can make it worse or just be unnecessary.
    Example: social bookmarking links handrolled vs. add-on
  • SL Developer Info - offers quick links to everything you need while developing. Very handy. Better than clicking around.
  • Build and design (the architecture) of your EE site with the people in mind who will actually be updating and maintaining it.
  • two field groups is easier, but twenty might be better.
    use LG Add CP Tabs to create a unified CP look for all of your administrative users.
  • Don’t leave stray stuff around the control panel.
    Remove unneeded tabs in the publish form.
    if you’re not using the formatting toolbar, remove it!
