V4. 12-‐01-‐29 Ryan Coelho’s Personal Perspective My Vision: A world that works. From my perspective, to make the world work we need to begin thinking differently about the world itself. As Einstein once said, “We cant solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” I believe the key element is in helping others feel connected and enabling them to discover their passion. By doing so we will unlock the power each of us contains as individuals, and when we connect that power on a society level, the world will begin to work on the basis of ‘togetherness;’ The power of ‘one.’ As fuzzy as this may sound, the logic makes sense. We all bleed red. We are all of the same species. We are all equal and unique. If we were born to be robots, we’ve basically voided are belief in free-will from day one. In my opinion, what will lead to this vision is creating more choice. This will allow people to become more connected with others while enabling them to discover their passion. My Mission: To bring out the greatness in others. Through my experience over the years, what I’ve come to know, at least for myself, is that there must be something more to life. Something beyond just surviving, and rather striving for more. I’ve come to believe that this ‘more’ we strive for isn’t on the outside but rather within. I used to disagree with this notion; however, being able to think differently now I see its value. My purpose in life has become to provide different perspectives and ask the right questions that allow others to see their greatness within. To understand they are leaders in their own regard, and help them tap into this leadership capacity. V4. 12-‐01-‐29 My MottoDream.This word really represents the thought process we can tap into that can ‘see the unseen.’ A self-made vision of what the world,and ourselves, can look like without the present reality to prove it. We all have this capacity; unfortunately many of us never letour dreams see the light of day. Blocked by fear, self-doubt, lack of confidence, and a myriad of mirages, we hold onto ourdreams, wishing and hoping, that one day they become realized.Explore.The first step to seeing our dreams become reality is to begin exploring. This can be known as the testing phase. It’s abouttesting our thoughts in reality. Seeing what works and what doesn’t. Trying over and over until we notice new insights and trends.The key to exploration is being aware and focused. Aware of yourself, your surroundings, and focused on everything that isinvolved in accomplishing your dream. Exploration comes down to the belief in one’s self. If you do not believe in what you’recapable of, you will never compel others to believe in you.Discover.As you explore you begin to discover. Another way of expressing this term is learning. You learn from your exploration. Youbegin to see things you never noticed when you were sitting and wishing for your dreams to come true. You begin to take aproactive stance in your life, changing things that don’t work. As you discover, you unlock secrets within that create new andexciting opportunities for truly bringing your dreams to reality. Remember, you don’t know what you don’t know; call it a blindspot. Furthermore, to unlock large discoveries you must realize you only know what you know and have to want to know whatothers know that you don’t know (i.e. power of conversations and collaboration).Inspire.There are few that truly use their actions to express their words. Inspiration begins from within. It begins by taking exploring anddiscovering to bring to life what is unseen. I guess you can call it, creation. As people see these creations, or stories are sharedabout them, others are inspired to develop those of their own. This inspiration leads to change.
