So Much More Than Tech Tools: How Participatory Media Are Transforming
Learning and Teaching.
Just a few years ago, it seems, they were known as “tech tools” in our classrooms. Now known as “participatory media,” they are liberating twenty-first century learning and teaching from the constraints of time, space, and place. In this session, two experienced leaders and innovators in instructional technology will analyze the transformative role of multiple technologies in our schools. They will also address the challenges—instructional, curricular, and organizational—faced by teachers, administrators, and their students to leverage technology’s power to reach beyond classroom walls into our communities and our world.
